The day I was at Edward's funeral was the strangest thing in the world. I always knew it would hurt to see his body inside a coffin, but the fact that it was closed because of the catastrophe that was when they collected his remains, left me even more shaken.
From what I could understand, Edward collapsed on that bridge at a speed of one hundred kilometers per hour. The fall lasted four seconds, so I couldn't see it falling, only the foam forming by the fall. He fell on his feet, and that's what hurt his life. If he fell lying down, maybe the weight would be distributed in a more proportional way. Maybe he would break the spine or more bones, because the water became solid at that speed of the fall, but he would still be alive.
