Chapter 50

ISABELLA

I look out the window and see that we're getting closer and closer to the city, and I'm feeling further and further away from my father. I sigh and dry my eyes.

Furthermore, I'm feeling very upset because he's managed to see my father and I haven't. I have so many things to say to him, but I can't do it anymore.

The hours go by, and I'm completely surprised when Lorenzo says we're going to travel to Italy on his private plane. He's a very rich man, and I'll never get used to that detail.

It's my first trip, and Lorenzo is sitting in the seat in front of me, typing something on his computer, while I feel and see the plane starting to take off into the sky.

I closed my eyes tightly, feeling the fear controlling my body at that moment. When I open my eyes, I see him looking at me nonstop.

I breathe again when I see that we're flying and nothing bad has happened. I try to calm my heart while still looking at the Italian in front of me.
