Chapter 11. Ex-Best Friend

Let me tell you the story of the two best friends. Or, let’s say, ex-best friends. One was the Moon, and the other was the Special Star.

What? Did you expect me to say ‘Sun’?

No, not the Sun because the Moon and the Sun are rarely seen together. Whereas, in the case of those two best friends, they were always together. In fact, they have vowed to remain partners forever and ever.

A long time ago, the Moon was accepted into a school with thousands of stars. She was unique because she had never attended school before. She was home-schooled in the past, and teachers would come to her house to teach her. The Moon didn’t know how to make friends, and in addition, all of the stars in the school ignored her. Except for the one - the Special Star.

The Moon was alone on a bench, looking at a group of friends who were happily sharing their food.
