Chapter 40. Holding Hands
I grabbed my backpack and ran toward his car. Like a smart and supportive little sister, Ariana left the front passenger seat for me and went to the back seat. I loved the way my sister’s brain worked. She was so good at this kinda stuff. In fact, not just this; she was perfect in everything. Sometimes, I felt like I was the younger one, and she was my big sister because she was way more sensible and understanding than I was.
On our way to school, Ariana asked, “So, who’s gonna tell me about the great love story of an idiot, Amy Evans, and the most eligible bachelor, Noah Greyson?”
An idiot and the most eligible bachelor? Like, seriously? Why does Ari never spare any opportunity to show me down? God! I hate my sister. She is such a bitch.
“Ummm…there are lots of things I should filter before telling them to you. So you better ask your sister. She is really good at filtered narrations,” Noah responded back to her.<
