Chapter 100
While I was seeing Bon unveil his genuine character, I stood guard in front of Jinny to keep her safe. I was aware that Bon had been manipulating us the whole time; he stared at us with sadness clearly visible in his eyes.
Bon had wounded Jinny with a crossbow just as she finished the spell to release his siphoning talents again. He had misled us into believing the spell would create a portal back home. "Jinny, get out of here!" I shouted. She was bleeding, and it was overwhelming my senses. Bon had tricked us into believing the spell would open a portal back home.
I bit the inside of my wrist and held it behind me for Jinny to reach with her fingers.
"Drink," I commanded sharply, keeping a tight eye on Bon as she covered my wrist with her lips. She didn't resist as she did so, and I took a sizable gulp of the liquid. Why isn't he attacking us?
"Why are you not doing anything but standing there? I uttered a low snarl at him.
