Chapter 13

"You're looking-"

That was the extent of his progress before I severed his head with a rapid motion of my hand. As the others came rushing at me, I flashed a grin at them. I continued to run at my usual pace, which was approximately five times quicker than theirs.

I tucked my hands behind my back and deflected their attacks with relative ease. This infuriated them even more, as they attempted to get hold of me but were ultimately unsuccessful.

"You can't possibly do that. I've never seen a vampire move quite so swiftly before." Someone yelled out.

Another person commented that she was just as quick as the bloodthirst.

That made me laugh out loud and put a grin on my face.
