Chapter 17
I greeted him in a straightforward manner with "Good morning, sunshine," completely ignoring his presence.
I leaned my arms on my knees and remarked, "I believe it's time for you to answer my question," as I waited for an answer.
Leon assumed a seated position and sat up straight. Both of our wounds had fully recovered, as had all of his. I've fought enough for today; I'm done with it. As dusk neared, we both watched it pass by.
"My father," he began his response.
"He's been buried in a tomb in District 9," she said. Put behind bars, away from everyone he could potentially harm. He did it in a relaxed manner while maintaining his focus on the lake.
"Where did you get your fighting skills?" After turning his attention to me, Leon questioned I avoided making eye contact with him while speaking in my regular, unemotional tone.
