Chapter 12

Suddenly, everything started moving at a much faster pace, and I found myself sobbing outside a house that was on fire.

"Mother! Father!" I yelled as loud as I could possibly muster up the energy.

I was so overwhelmed that I had to get down on my knees and embrace myself.

"Leon! Someone! Please!" Help!" Once more, I let out a scream.

As a result of all of the yelling, my voice started to become hoarse. My family was trapped inside the burning house, and all I could do was watch it burn. It was a terrible decision on my part to go to the market. It was a mistake for me to leave the house. I had the ability to save them.
