Chapter 23
Cedric did nothing more than giggle before walking over to his painting.
"I was only studying her features for my painting, brother." He responded, even though he was still painting at the time.
Leon stated this to you in a cunning manner: "I silently say for your sake that what you say is true."
He peered up at me from below and offered me a smirk, which I returned to him in kind. He walked me out of the room by putting his arm around my shoulder and holding it there.
"Cedric, I am grateful that you did not wake me up. After what happened yesterday, I was in desperate need of some rest. As we were leaving the room, I let out a shout.
Due to the fact that I have acute hearing, I was able to pick up on Cedric's chuckle. A strange gaze came from Leon's direction.
I responded by saying, "I'll explain later," and then I went into my own room, leaving Leon standing there.
