Chapter 36
I have this strong want to be in close proximity to any kind of body of water.
Suddenly, a mental image of the lake where Leon and I had been doing our training appeared before my eyes. The breathtaking lake that we saw at the outset of this mission.
I immediately turned around and started walking in the opposite direction, which was toward the lake. My attention was drawn to a shop selling various musical instruments as I strolled down a random street. In the shop's front window, there was a gorgeous, aging guitar that was black in color. When I was younger, I used to play classical guitar, and looking back, my instrument didn't look all that different from the one displayed in the shop window.
Those were some of the most peaceful and enjoyable times of my life.
