When Leon replied, his voice was hardly audible above a whisper. "I do not understand what changed in you," he said.

"Don't let the night's seductive power fool you... Even the most innocent of souls can't resist its pull." I started it while shaking my finger at him in a mocking manner and keeping a stone-cold expression on my face.

"You need to accept it, Leon." After staring at me intensely for a while, it seemed as though he had something to say to me.

Then, it seemed as if he abruptly changed his mind and simply departed without saying goodbye.

Cedric didn't return for quite some time, but when he did, he looked just as furious as before he went.
