"What is it, people say? One is a company, two is a crowd, and three is a party'?" Lucy laughed slowly, maintaining eye contact with Cedric.

"Now that you're here, Cedric, we can finally let the party begin," Lucy said. All the cheerfulness and fun were gone from her voice; the only thing left was a cold and empty tone.

Lucy proceeded to put two fingers in her mouth and whistle loudly. The Bloodtear siblings appeared confused until they heard a loud howl, and in came Wendy and her pack.

Leon said, "Wendy," sounding surprised by her presence. A hint of both relief and love was clear on his face.

"Hello, Leon. I thought you had forgotten about me." Wendy replied in a hateful and bitter tone.

Next entered Smith and his followers, looking smug.

"Greetings, former family," Smith said with a clever grin on his face.

"Smith, what-" Katty trailed off as Cedric jumped down from the balcony to stand protectively in front of his siblings.
