I just shook my head as I watched the young man leave. I think that one has a jump on the head, eh? Maybe because he is so serious about his studies that he has lost himself. I better forget what Jericho said earlier. Actually, I shouldn't think about him or even take him seriously.

I went back to what I was doing earlier in the kitchen and I sped up my actions a little because I intend to buy a scooter that we can use on a daily basis. I don't know but Marian can drive.

By three o'clock I thought of leaving the house because Marian and Karla were still asleep. Of course, I didn't want to disturb their sleep so I just let it go and left by myself.

I was almost at the corner when I met Jericho. I automatically frowned because I thought he was coming to us or maybe to our neighbor. The path was small so I had no other choice but to smile at him.

“Do you have a walk?”

“Probably,” I answered.

“I was going to come to you, here o, because Grandma cooked biko,”
