Patrick gave her a hundred dollars for her meal allowance and Catherine was more than happy to accept it. She shared the good news with Jenelyn and her classmate accompanied her to Plaza Fair where there was a money change to change the US Dollars into Philippine Peso. For the first time in her whole life, a total of five thousand five hundred pesos was on her hand and she was happy to hold the crisp bill. “Is this for real, Jen?” She asked.Jenelyn was happy for Catherine. It was the woman’s first time to receive some money from a foreigner and she was already happy with the hundred dollars. How much more if someone would be willing to give her more? “Yes, and more is coming your way if you keep on doing what you’re doing.” She answered.
