Temporarily, Catherine forgot about Sanver, but one day while she was on the way to Jasmine’s Place, the hotel where Patrick was staying, she spotted Sanver’s car. The stoplight was red and his car was just beside the jeepney she was riding with. She waved at him and the man just stared at her like she was nobody, like he didn’t know her at all, then she noticed that someone was sitting beside him, and she understood why he ignored her.

When the light was green, his car speeded away and she tried to call him. Sanver cancelled all her calls, and after trying to reach him for at least a hundred times, she gave up, and look ahead. However, it was very difficult to stay positive when her heart was crushed into tiny little pieces. It was hard to stop her tears from falling but she didn’t want to cry in public.
