Gone
"Manuel, m-maybe what would Ezekiel do to Catalena," I said while Manuel was driving. He just frowned and sighed. Angelo fell asleep in my arms while his nanny was behind.
"Dad will talk to him tomorrow." I breathed deeply. Over the years, Zeke has become more important to me. He helped me when I was so down when Manuel and I were apart.
I want to help him now, whatever his problem is. I know we haven't seen each other for a few months because we were busy with each other lives. This is the first time I have seen him like this.
He's mad, but I see a strange emotion I once felt in his eyes.
"Zeke's brain is narrow. I know my brother. He can hurt Catalena." Manuel said.
I closed my eyes, remembering the bruise on Catalena's arm.
"What if we didn't know that he was hurting Catalena?"
He turned to me and seemed to be thinking. I was suddenly panicked. "Uh, maybe."
"I don't want to interfere in his life Aurora." His gaze sharpene
