I watched as Doctor Kedeva panicked over the appearance of my beta, Steven. I don't know why, but since I met Kedeva, he has been telling me that he doesn't trust Kelvin, which is kind of ridiculous to me.

If he wasn't trustworthy, I would have known because he has been my beta for almost six years now. He hasn't given me a reason not to trust him yet. He is the most honest person I have ever met.

I didn't plan to come with him to this secret restaurant, and honestly, I wasn't aware that he had followed me. His appearance had been a little shocking to me too, but I was quick to replace the shock with a smirk instead.

''What is he doing here? You set me up, didn't you?'' He lifted his arm and stretched his index finger toward me, his gaze fixed on my face as if to see any traces of lies.
