He retraced his steps inside the bedroom and then he noticed the list of activities that were written on a scented paper. Marcus read that dinner would be served at eight o’clock and the theme was still Japanese. It was also specified in the list where they could get their costumes for the themed dinner.
Who could have organized Paloma’s birthday? It didn’t fit her age which was sixty, but rather childish. Marcus chose the black hooded ninja robe with red trim and attached red belt while Ortega chose the red costume for a samurai warrior. While he put on the costume, he wondered what she was going to wear for dinner. He was not supposed to get excited about seeing her again, after all, he chose to be far from her.
