Rose’s POV

Standing in the swirling mist, I felt a strange calm settle over me.

Alpha Kanen’s parents, Augustus and his mate, stood quietly, waiting for me to continue.

They had asked how their son was doing, and I had begun to tell them, but now I felt the troubles of everything Alpha Kanen had been through, everything we had been through.
