Chapter 136. Where's Celine?

My eyes snapped open, and the first thing that met my gaze was the surface of the room's ceiling.

I rolled onto my side in the hopes of finding Sebastian asleep next to me, but he was not here and he was nowhere to be found. The fact that the bed was cold indicated that he didn’t sleep in this room with me.

Where might he be? Why did he not return back here in the room at any point during the night? Did he figure out that this was me, and not Celine?

I compelled myself to sit up and furiously shook my head. Why do I have to fill my mind with unnecessary thoughts?

Be positive, Brylee… It's possible that the overwhelming amount of work he had to complete caused him to nod off at the library. My sanity completely unraveled realizing how I loved Sebastian so much.

And the thought of him loving Celine only served to inflame the hatred I already felt for her within my heart. I will never let her come back to the villa again. I will never allow h
