I snapped back to reality when I heard Josephine let out a sigh. "I'm really glad you're back, Kaden. I heard so much about you. I was hoping you could help me with Candice. She's been pulling away from me lately, and I just don’t know what to do. I regret pushing her to befriend our neighbors to help her forget you."
"Maybe it's because you keep confronting her that she's becoming more distant," Dr. Hendery chimed in. "She's not a little girl anymore, Josephine, and I think she's still getting used to having me here in the house."
