"Hey, man! You can't get in unless you take this," The guy held out his hand, revealing two capsules resting in his palm. Seriously?

I was about to grab them when he quickly closed his fingers and pulled his hand back. I looked up to see him grinning.

"First, you need to cough up the cash," he said, slipping his fist into the pocket of his leather jacket. "A hundred bucks each," he added, stressing ‘each’ as he leaned in closer to whisper.

I let out a frustrated sigh and fished out two hundred dollars from my wallet in the back pocket of my jeans. I had no other option if I wanted to get inside. I needed to act fast.
