Chapter 6. Problem

If I were to die tonight, I wouldn’t have to see the sun and the rain for the next few days.
I wouldn’t have to face my mother, Troy, and my mother-in-law tomorrow.
Besides, I was very tired. My entire being was very exhausted. My legs, my body, my mind. Everything.
Maybe, I should give it a try.
I took a deep breath and dared to glance down, but it only took me three seconds to look up again because the water caused me to shake all over. I was unable to continue looking down.
I shook my head. I couldn’t do this.
“Hey…” I heard a voice coming from a distance, and I turned my head to see a man wearing a dark cap sitting on the ledge just three meters away from me.
It was because I was so engrossed in my own thoughts that I failed to recognize that someone was watching me, and that they even came very close to where I was sitting.
“Problem…?” he asked, making me tear my gaze away from him.
