Silas’s POV
Suddenly, my wolf is on high alert and I’m standing on my feet. I can’t remain still. I’m overwhelmed with emotions that rattle me too much.
“What do you mean you didn’t text her?” I growl lowly.
Something’s not right. My gut speaks louder now. My gut was never wrong.
“I haven’t been with my phone all morning. It’s been missing from my bag.” She’s shivering now from the menacing pressure of my Alpha dominance, compelling her to tell me everything she knows.
