Lilly’s POV

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me down every possible hallway, desperate to outrun them. The echo of footsteps behind me grew louder, urging me to push harder. My heart raced as I turned a corner, scanning for any escape route that could lead me to safety.

Jacob and James had spotted me the moment I tried to sneak past Lex’s office. They didn’t even give me a proper head start before they caught a whiff of my scent.

Adrenaline surged through my veins as I hurried towards the closest stairwell. With each passing moment, I knew I had to outsmart them or risk being cornered.
