Chapter 26. Drew Me to Her

Lex’s POV

“Where the hell do you think you’re going, Lex?” my mother sneered, cutting me off from the rest of the group.

“To the ballroom,” I replied casually. “As per your instructions.”

“Not looking like that,” she snapped, gesturing to my attire—or lack thereof.

I smirked.

She knew me too well. She knew I was bold enough to enter the ballroom—infested with women—almost bare if I had to. She should at least appreciate that I was going. After all, we’re werewolves, and nudity didn’t bother us at all; in fact, I welcomed it. I would much rather spend my time without clothes than wearing them.

“Get dressed!” she hissed.

An omega servant rushed forward with a set of clothes.

I knew that questioning her would only provoke her further, and for a moment, I considered teasing the beast just a little longer before I relented to her demand.
