He turned to me, grabbed my chin and pulled me close for a kiss.

“I’ll be back before you know it. Lock the doors.”

“Like that’s going to stop a wolf.” He closed his lips on mine again in a hard, possessive kiss.

“If you hadn’t followed me to the shower, then maybe I would have taken you,” Ezra said.

I laughed. “Me?”

“You couldn’t resist me, Summer.”

“I recall you being the one who dragged me in, Alpha Ezra.”

He grinned. “Summer, I have to leave, and I like the sound of my title on your lips.”

I stroked his cheek and smiled. “Go, I can only imagine what that girl’s family is going through.”

He picked up my hand and kissed it. “I’ll have one of the betas come over and watch the place until I’m back.”
