Ezra POV

My fist connected with his jaw again. This would go a lot better if he just confessed to cursing my brother and what the fuck he wanted from me.

“Fuck you!” Bowen spat.

“This could be over quickly if you tell me what I want.”

He spat blood on the dungeon floor. His henchmen were in the other cells. They were either oblivious or really good at hiding the truth. Either way, they were getting beaten up.

“You’re barking at the wrong tree, mutt.”

“Ohh, that’s not a nice word.” I rammed my fist into his jaw again.

Roman stood in the corner of the room and groaned.

“Talk Bowen. It’s late and we’re tired,” Roman said.

“Yeah, I have a mate I need to get to.”

“That stupid bitch,” Bowen barked.

My wolf jumped to the edge of my skin and flashed in my eyes.

He was chained to the chair. I dug my claws into his flesh, sinking my venom into his body. He cried out and cursed.

“What did you say about my mate
