Chapter 58

Summer POV

I spat the disgusting liquid into Dimitri’s eyes. He dropped the bottle, the stuff flew everywhere. He cried out and rubbed his eyes.

“Bitch!”

Some of that stuff went down my throat. It burnt worse than any vodka ever.

Dimitri screamed and knocked over things as he battled to get the liquid out of his eyes.

Serves him right for trying to force that stuff down my throat.

“Alpha!” Rocco yelled.

“What did you do to him?” Sophia cried.

I rolled my eyes.

A couple more betas entered the room and tried to help Dimitri but he shoved them all off.

“You’re going to pay for this. Tie her up!”

He clutched his left eye and marched out of the room.

Rocco marched over to me and slapped me.

My wolf showed restraint.

“Prepare,” Clover said.

I thought she wanted me to survive this thing and fight later. Though there was no best time to escape and I couldn’t jump out of a window.
