Chapter 56

Summer POV

If I fall out of the window and break my leg it will heal after some time. Of course, then I wouldn’t be able to run away. Derek would just catch me again. The bathroom door was locked but that won’t stop werewolves.

I stuck my top half out of the window but the fall was two stories.

A boot slammed into the door. It jerked forward and broke off its hinges.

The window was my only option. I climbed out of the window just as the door flew open.

“Nice try Summer,” Derek laughed. “Get her.”

Rough hands grabbed me and dragged me back into the bathroom.

“Wouldn’t expect anything less from a she-wolf like you.”

Derek dragged me back to the bedroom. I wasn’t close to escaping at all but I could do it again. The house was packed this was a dumb idea. The security would be tighter now.
