Chapter 74

Summer POV

“You should go out there you know,” I whispered into Ezra’s arms.

He hissed my forehead. “I know.”

“What’s stopping you?”

He chuckled into my hair. “I like being in your warmth.”

“I think they always had confidence you would defeat Dimitri,” I said.

“I didn’t. You and Hunter did.”

“Come on, I did not fight against him all night.”

He ran a hand down my arm. “I wouldn’t have done it without you Summer. There are no words to thank you.”

“Don’t downplay your role in this Ezra. Come on, Alpha you have a Pack that’s dying to hear from you.”

The corner of his lips raised and he smiled at the ground sheepishly. “I want to spend the night in my mate’s arms.”

I closed the gap between us and kissed him. “You better hurry then.”

Ezra changed into black pants and a white t-shirt. I slipped into my pyjamas and followed behind him. The Pack gathered in the front yard, all in their robes or pyjamas, most of th
