Summer POV

I made a small pit stop to our room and slipped into Ezra’s shirt. He scooped me into his arms the second he set foot on the property. His wolves came from all angles of the estate.

“Hey, are you okay? Are you hurt?”

“You’re the one bleeding, babe.”

“I’m fine. What the hell? Why did you make me sound the retreat call? Everyone’s confused and pissed as hell. We’ve been fighting since the sun went down.”
