“He wanted to ….” I froze as I thought about what to say at that moment about what Damien wanted of course, I knew one wrong word would put me in serious issues with Lucas, he wasn’t one to mess with.

“This is our wedding party, why couldn’t you just listen? “ he growled as he walked around. I stood silent as I watched him express his anger.

“I leave you for one second and already back laughing with the one person I warned you not to ever interact with,” he said, he walked towards me held my cheek, and pressed them together, I closed my eyes to hold back the pain.

“If I ever see you next to him again,” he whispered before we were interrupted by a man who came into the room.

“Boss” he called out and I turned to look at a big man already covered in tattoos, his eyes were fixed on Lucas and he refused to pay any attention to me.
