Chapter 82. Divorce
Morning came, and I woke to find that Lucas wasn’t by my side. I wasn’t surprised, as I knew it was normal for him to be gone in the morning.
I figured he was out with the men or in the gym. Not that I cared—at least I got some peace when he wasn’t around.
I woke as a wave of nausea hit me, making me rush out of bed and into the bathroom, emptying my stomach into the toilet. I sighed as soon as I was done and took that as a sign to shower.
I slipped into a short dress and packed a small bag just as Lucas had asked, though I knew he would provide anything I needed if I didn’t bring anything myself. It was the perk of having a billionaire husband.
I walked out of the room just as the maids arrived to serve breakfast. I opted for simple tea, as I was still feeling nauseous and didn’t want to end up in the bathroom again.
