The day passed by, and it was the day of the party which Lucas had organized. The house was busy as the maids rushed to set up the palace for the party. I didn’t think there were to be many guests, I mean who gives you a few hours' notice to a party?

I spent the morning in my room, as my mother went through my wardrobe looking for a perfect dress to wear, I knew she wanted to look good in case she caught the eye of a wealthy man or something.
