Chapter 104. Spoilt Sisterhood
I didn’t want to dress up so I slipped into my favorite hoodie and a comfortable pair of jeans, the standard attire for a day when I just wanted to feel like myself. It wasn’t like my biological mother haven’t seen me before or my bitchy sister.
Standing in front of the mirror, I assessed my reflection. The hoodie masked any hint of the baby bump that was slowly making its presence known, leaving me looking like my usual self, except for my paler-than-usual skin, which seemed to stand out more than usual.
Lost in my thoughts, I was interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Come in," I called out, not bothering to check who it was. A young man entered, informing me that my father had arrived.
"Let him in," I instructed, and he nodded before opening the door wider to allow my father to enter.
