Chapter 15. A New House
Linford’s eyes went soft when he thought about that woman. She was gentle and sweet. Boring parties like this probably didn’t suit her taste. He knew he needed to stop thinking about that woman now. So, Linford took a sip from his glass and changed the topic, “You finally found someone you really want? That’s rare, huh.”
“Yep,” Fritzi shrugged, “You know how picky I am. What can I say? That woman just got the game. Oh, by the way, Elle just told me that Cristelle used to be learning in Paris before. Did you know that already?”
Linford nodded.
“You investigated her?” Fritzi arched an eyebrow.
“Any problem with that?” Linford asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
“Absolutely no problem, boss,” Fritzi smiled, “It’s just rare for us to see you get so interested in someone.”
Linford knew what she was pouting at, but he didn’t want to explain it. A famous actress walked by. She pretended to slip and lurched, pouring her glass of wine on Linford’s suit.
