Chapter 20. Angela Is Getting Better

Zayn walked towards Angela's patient room, occasionally humming about the song he knew. The atmosphere of the hall was quiet, making the hum that came out of his mouth audible more clearly. It's 2 in the morning, and Zayn has the night shift today.

Zayn stopped his footsteps when he felt the bracelet he was wearing was warm. Zayn's heart started beating fast, and he swallowed his saliva many times to get rid of the goosebumps he suddenly experienced. Zayn tried to calm down and his feet back towards Angela's patient room. As his feet got closer to Angela's patient room, the bracelet he wore warmed up.

Until finally, he stood in front of Angela's door. He didn't dare look into the small glass in front of Angela's door because he knew he might see things he shouldn't see. The bracelet he wears tends to heat up when he holds the knob of Angela's room door and prepares to open it.

''Please…. I don't want to see anything."
