Chapter 21. Blessings from Dawn to Chris and Maria

Maria no longer stands next to Chris when they have breakfast, lunch or dinner. She now sat next to Chris and served him like a husband. And it became a conversation among the servants at the residence. They wonder how a caregiver can win the hostess position in such a short time. Maria had several times encountered maids talking about her. But Maria didn't feel sad because she knew that she was the subject of gossip at the Goldenheart.
