Chapter 91. Body and Soul

A red light flashes above the operating room door. Sitting in the waiting chair, Tommy kept looking at the light, hoping that the light would turn off and the doctor would come out of the operating room and tell him that Martin was fine and had no injuries. Whatever. But that was all just Tommy's hope. He had been waiting for almost 4 hours outside the operating room. And

Because his clothes were wet and only a towel covered him, Tommy's body temperature suddenly felt warm, his head dizzy, and his stomach nauseous. Tommy wanted to feel like laying his body on a mattress and enveloping his body with a thick blanket. If he could, he would want to do all of those things. But his thoughts at this time were only focused on the doctors' operation on Martin.

Tommy lowered his head, and his thoughts drifted back to when he signed the papers given by the doctor to operate on Martin.
