Chapter 25. The First Problem

I didn’t expect it would be so easy. But then, I carefully asked, “As we just met each other, I want to get to know you better. So I will ask your father’s permission to court you.”

Lisa looked into my eyes. Her eyes widened. “Court me?” 

“Yes, to get to know you and have your father’s blessings for our relationship.”

“I know what a court is. It’s just how you said it as if it were a royal thing.” She giggled. Then, unexpectedly, she hugged me and whispered, “Yes, I love that. But I want to ensure one thing first.”

“Oh? What’s that?”

“I want to know if we are compatible in bed.” 

I gaped, as it was bold for a woman to say that. I had never met a woman as straightforward as Lisa. 

She shrugged to see my shock. Then she walked away. “I’m not a virgin. Just FYI. I have enjoyed some men before. So, I must know we are compatible there.”
