Pedro couldn't count how many bottles of alcohol and wine he had already drunk. He never imagined that in his attempt to protect his family, he would destroy it completely.

And it was all his mother's fault. It was his fault for being weak and giving in to his mother, Carmela's, desires.

He had seen that his mother had taken control of all the stocks of his company. He would lose the company. The bright future that should have been there for his child with Adrienne would disappear.

His mother agreed to let him continue his relationship with Adrienne, as long as he married Shane. But his mother was cunning, and now everything was lost to him.
