Chapter 61
Camille’s POV
“Okay, that was embarrassing as hell.” I laughed as we tried to find our way to Roberto’s office. We were on the fifth floor already and they turned to let us get dressed while whispering as we did our walk of shame.
“I’m just glad I didn’t have to break anybody’s neck for pulling out their phones to record us.” Asher cracked his knuckles. He seemed totally unfazed by the whole incident.
I hear the soft clicks of my heels hitting the marble floor as I walk through the door the secretary told me. The walls are covered with gray and ivory wallpapers and motivational photography with silver frames. They were two small sections of offices across from each other and between them is a small cubicle where a woman stood up to greet me. I felt a wave of anxiety hit me.
“Look! There is a placard saying, Barrister Roberto.” Asher pointed at a gigantic door on the right and we almost rushed to it when another woman stopped us. She looked like she was Robert
