Then Red coughed and grinned again. “Okay, you have great pictures here. But don’t worry, Luna. Our Alpha is strong. He can take care of himself.”

Helena took her phone and showed our pictures to me.

“Don’t forget to send the photos to me.”

“Yes.” Helena immediately sent the pictures. Then she hugged my waist. “I’ll miss you a lot.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll come home soon. If all goes well, I will marry you in no time so we can stay at my place.”

“Yes, though I’ll miss my mother, I want to stay with you.”

Red coughed again. “Alpha, don’t worry. I’ll guard our Luna well.”

“You may need to drink cough medicine since you cough a lot today.” I grinned, teasing Red. Then I said in a serious tone, “Don’t let me down again.”

“No, Alpha. I promise,” Red said solemnly.

Finally, I nodded to Helena. “Go inside. Everything will be okay, and we will be together again. Soon!”
