Nyla’s POV

“What are you doing?” Neomi stopped in my way when I wanted run over to comfort Valerie.

I don’t mind if she slaps me and call me names. It might have been too much for her knowing that the mother she knows all her life isn’t her mother and it was obvious she wasn’t going to accept though it hurts.

“Is there anything I can do like to comfort her,” Neomi glared at me, I swallowed hard.

“Neomi we can talk like mother’s,” I suggested and that reduced a bit of the tension between us.
