Chapter 13. Revealing the Prophecy

As the last elder left the chamber, Kaelan took my hand and led me to his room. This was the first time I’ve entered his room and it made my breath hitch. His room was spacious and luxuriously furnished.

I stared at his portrait that hung on the wall. It was a captured image of him, sitting on his throne, wearing all the regal attires of a Lycan King. It was beautiful.

Suddenly, Kaelan turned me around and pinned me against the wall, gazing at me with lustful eyes. I blushed and lowered my lashes, unable to meet his gaze. He lifted my chin so I could look at him. “You’re beautiful, Everly,”

“Thank you, Kaelan. You are handsome too.” I blurted before I could stop myself.

His gaze became more intense and he lowered his lips to mine. His lips brushed mine in a seductive way and I felt my body ache for his touch. He deepened the kiss, while his hand moved down my back until it settled on my butt and squeezed gently.
