After I sent Everly and my capable warriors to war, I headed to my office to sort out some documents.

I had a business deal to make with some billionaire humans. Being an Alpha shouldn’t just be about running a pack and defeating your enemies.

I needed to take the packs under me to the next level. Most werewolf packs lacked social amenities and I think it’s time to step up and do something about it.

I flipped through the documents on my desk, but I found that my mind wasn’t on them.

I leaned back on the chair and thought about Everly. Traditionally, a Luna has to prove herself before she can be crowned but I didn’t want to go through all that before making her my Luna.

Now she has led the warriors to Haven Pack, and I hated that she was out there in battle while I’m here flipping through the pages of some documents. My instinct urged me to go join her, but I had to trust her. I had to have faith in her capabilities.
