Blood sipped through my injured leg and I leaked it. As soon as I tasted blood in my mouth my vision blurred for a split second—then something inside me snapped.
A surge of energy roared through me, wild and uncontrollable. My claws elongated, and my eyes burned gold. My veins pulsated, ready to unleash mayhem.
The shadows circled around me like a snake and I lost control.
I moved faster than the wind, and my body acted on pure instinct. My claws tore through the rogue’s throat before he even realized I had moved. The second rogue barely had time to gasp before I flung him into a tree with inhuman strength. His bones cracked loudly, causing some birds to take flight.
There were about twelve rogues but six are already eliminated. I turned my attention to Duncan and just when I was about to attack, he threw an explosive in my direction and ran.
