Chapter 71
Ramon POV
I carried Lake to the leather couch against the far wall, the one that faced away from the door—some instinct for privacy even in a locked room. His legs stayed wrapped around my waist, his hands clutching at my shoulders like he was afraid I might change my mind.
No chance of that. Not when I could smell how much he wanted this, the sweet scent of slick already starting to perfume the air between us.
“Ramon,” he breathed against my neck, and the need in his voice made something primal wake up in my chest.
I laid him down on the couch, following him down to cover his body with mine. His hands immediately went to my belt, fumbling with the buckle in his eagerness. I captured his wrists gently, pinning them above his head with one hand.
“Let me,” I said. “Let me take care of you.”
He made a frustrated sound but stopped fighting, going pliant beneath me in a way that shouldn’t have been as arousing as it was. I took my time removing
