“Come in,” she mumbled and the door opened, as two teenage girls walked in holding trays. When I saw the food, my stomach rumbled and I realized just how hungry I was.
When they saw the position Gina and I were in, they blushed as they cast a knowing look at each other. They were going to have something to talk about when they left.
After they served the food, I thanked them and they hurriedly scurried away in a way that reminded me of rats. As soon as they left and closed the door behind them, I spoke.
“Why did they dash off like that?”
“Probably because there’s a hot man in their coven,” Gina’s gaze shifted to the fabric hanging loosely around my waist, “A half-naked one at that.”
